The Maryanovich Lab would like to congratulate our newest member Farzana Begum for passing Einstein's rigorous qualification examination. The qualification exam tests students' ability to demonstrate their mastery of their chosen subject matter, ability to formulate and defend their research proposal, and the critical thinking skills required to adapt their project to new information and setbacks. This milestone represents a year of hard work, perseverance, and dedication by Farzana since she joined our lab. We are proud to work with Farzana on achieving her research training goals. With this, Farzana will continue her research on studying the effects of the sympathetic nervous system and reactive oxygen species on the immune response to Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Great job!
